Righty, so with 13 players remaining in the Sviten Special they are showing no signs of giving up for the night - but alas your bloggers must. Results from the €60 Knockout - playing down to a winner tonight - and Day 1 of The Hendon Mob €250 Warm Up (with Day 2 reconvening at 1 pm), will also have to wait until the morning - but rest assured that all results, etc will appear right here on the live b due course.
All in all, it has been a very good day here at The Festival in Bratislava. Fine turnouts for our first batch of side events bode well for what we are certain is going to be an exceptional week at the poker tables. But of course, The Festival is about so much more than that. Still, to come we've got parties and casino games; old friends and new friends; shenanigans we can't speak of in the blog, and so on. We can't wait to show you everything that Banco Casino and the beautiful city of Bratislava have to offer - and happily, we've got s whole week to do it.
Arguably tomorrow's highlight is Day 1a of the €550 Main Event - with €500,000 guaranteed, we're expecting serious numbers of entries, with a total of five starting flights running between now and Friday. We'll be documenting it all right here on the blog, from the first shuffle up and deal until the last chips are bagged and tagged, along with a smorgasbord of side events to suit all tastes and pockets. From tomorrow evening we will also have the legendary here, and the timetable for tomorrow (Tuesday) is pasted below for your convenience.
